![]() ![]() There is the story of Kyoto the Fire Girl.a entire episode about a show Lala and Rito watch on television. ![]() Episodes 18-24 are basically OVAs that are stuffed in. two seasons to this series basically.and the second series starts somewhere around episode 14. Although the shows are both somewhat similar. Well I watched this series due to a suggestion in the recommendations of Rosario + Vampire. If anything, for those new to Anime it might just be their first ecchi comedy because if you start watching Anime, you'll run into these somewhere along the line unless you're very selective and careful. It's nothing outstanding and there's a lot of "typicalness" to it. Would I recommend this to anyone? Not really since I can basically describe this as generic. I just did not like how this turned out because despite the Manga being mostly stand alone stories, the creators of this show felt the need to make their own plots for many episodes. It would be great to see certain stories animated. Overall: I wouldn't mind a second series since they have more material to pull from and I enjoyed the Manga. It's just that most of the pervy jokes, accidents and misunderstandings are things we've seen before. I wouldn't say that they're trying too hard or anything like that. It's supposed to be comedy as well but it didn't spark too much laughter from me. Most of the episodes made me want to punch my screen though. That's a sign that I didn't completely hate it. I suppose in the end, I shouldn't expect more than that in a series like this.Įnjoyment: I finished it. I know they're side characters but if they're going to show up more than a few times, make them do more than "Oops, you can see my panties" or accidentally get naked. They did a pretty good job here.Ĭharacter: I did enjoy watching some of the characters but a lot of them seemed neglected and didn't get much screen time, which kind of disappointed me. No one was extremely annoying to listen to. As for the voice acting, I didn't really have a problem with anyone. Sound: Nothing in the bgm caught my attention and the opening was just okay. It was pretty consistent for each episode. I'll admit that a few of the episodes, maybe five of them, I really liked, thought they were well done, and made me laugh a bit.Īrt: Better than I expected for a series like this. A predictable "plot" and being composed of mostly ecchi scenes gets it a 5. The ending was disappointing but you can predict that it'll go nowhere anyway. Only some of the episodes were based off the Manga. However, this show's filler made me feel incredibly bored as most of the stories weren't even adapted from the Manga. Since chapters for To-Love-Ru are short, that would've been a great direction for A similar style to the beginning of Full Metal Panic Fumoffu would've been cool where there were two stories split between an episode. I understand that the Manga has stories that end in one chapter and expansion is necessary to make the Anime but they could've handled it better. The series strays way too far from the Manga and doesn't explore the main parts where you see many characters develop themselves. Each episode stands alone except the ending and they don't really play off of each other. With an evergrowing legion of swooning beauties that continuously foil his attempted confessions to Haruna, To LOVE-Ru is a romantic comedy full of slapstick humor, sexy girls, and outlandishly lewd moments that defy the laws of physics. To LOVE-Ru depicts Rito's daily struggles with the bizarre chaos that begins upon the arrival of Lala. Despite her position as the heiress to the most dominant power in the entire galaxy, Lala is surprisingly more than willing to marry the decidedly average Rito in order to avoid an unwanted political marriage. To add to the confusion, Rito discovers that the girl, Lala Satalin Deviluke, is the crown princess of an alien empire and has run away from her home. Sadly, his situation becomes even more challenging when one night, a mysterious, stark-naked girl crash-lands right on top of a bathing Rito. Timid 16-year-old Rito Yuuki has yet to profess his love to Haruna Sairenji-a classmate and object of his infatuation since junior high. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() Not only is it incredibly fun (and easy to learn) but you can earn new Tarot cards (used to grant temporary perks) for your journey by playing. Play KnucklebonesĮarly in your adventures, you’ll unlock a dice game called Knucklebones. Various resources can often be gathered from random plants and other objects on the map, and cutting down everything you see before moving to the next room will ensure your inventory is fully loaded when you return to camp. When you’re out on a quest, it’s in your best interest to destroy absolutely everything you see. Early in the game, it’s a good idea to stockpile these, as you’ll unlock some really costly rituals later in the game. These resources are required to perform Rituals and increase the faith of your cultists. Bones are invaluableīones are ridiculously useful in Cult of the Lamb. It can be easy to overlook your followers when you’re busy questing and unlocking structures, but gaining their loyalty is an easy way to quickly grow stronger. They’ll also produce more Devotion during Sermons. Increase their loyalty enough, and you’ll be rewarded with Devotion and a Commandment Stone Fragment. Giving cultists gifts and completing quests for them will increase their loyalty toward you. The easiest way to do this is to take a quick lap around your camp every day, scouting for anything unsavory that might be scattered on the ground. To avoid this, be sure to not only keep them fed but also dispose of any bodies, poop, or other hazardous materials. Your followers can get sick and die if you’re not careful. Only one Sermon can be performed a day, so make sure you don’t miss out on this easy way to level up. Your best bet is to give a Sermon early in the morning, then head out for an adventure. This is essentially how you level up in Cult of the Lamb, growing more powerful based on your number of followers and how loyal they are to the cult. Speaking of time-gated activities, you’ll want to give Sermons as often as possible. Keeping track of time is important, as some activities can only be performed once before getting locked behind a timer. Whether you’re chopping trees with your fellow cultists or out on an adventure, time will slowly tick by. Time of day is importantĬult of the Lamb uses a Day/Night cycle that is continuously running. ![]() This means you’ll want to do everything in your power to free prisoners and indoctrinate them - allowing your weird little family to grow larger and letting you unlock new areas of the game. While you’ll have a bunch of goals to accomplish listed on the right side of your screen, much of your progress is truly tied to growing your cult. Progress is tied to the size of your cult This will let you move around your structures as you see fit. Simply head over to the Building Sign and select the Edit Buildings option. Most of these are entirely customizable and can be moved without penalty later in the game. The game doesn’t tell you this right off the bat, but don’t fret about where you place your initial structures. You’ll also want to forage for berries as you venture out into the wild. This gives you easy access to cooking ingredients and makes it easy to keep your cultists fed. Picking berries and cooking food should be a daily task, and try to establish a Farm as soon as possible. If your cult starts getting hungry, bad things start happening. Heavy weapons, for example, might only let you land a single attack before needing to roll away to safety, while fast weapons will let you hack away endlessly. You won’t always be able to bring your favorite weapon into combat (thanks to the random nature of the game), so make sure you change up your playstyle based on your gear. Some are slow and deal heaps of damage, while others are fast and designed to slowly chip away at enemy health bars. Use each weapon properlyĪ roguelike is only as good as the weapons at your disposal, and Cult of the Lamb will throw no shortage of sharp, pointy objects your way. This means you shouldn’t be afraid to get close, deal some damage, then roll away to safety. Also keep in mind that touching most enemies won’t damage you - only active attacks will deplete your HP. It can also be used to close gaps, as you move surprisingly fast while rolling. This lets you quickly evade incoming attacks and put distance between you and your enemies. More importantly, you’ll want to master your dodge roll. Several skills are at your disposal, and learning the intricacies of each is the key to staying alive. Within the National Marine Sanctuary System, we see manta rays in or near Flower Garden Banks, Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale, American Samoa, Channel Islands, Florida Keys, Gray’s Reef, and Stellwagen Bank national marine sanctuaries. They are commonly seen offshore and near productive coastlines, and they are migratory throughout the year. Mantas are generally found in tropical, subtropical, and temperate waters worldwide. A full-grown adult manta can eat as much as 60 pounds of food each day, which can equal millions of microscopic plankton! ![]() On rare occasions, they will perform barrel rolls while feeding to maximize their prey intake. Food that enters the mouth is filtered by organs called gill rakers before being swallowed whole. Manta rays are passive filter feeders, swimming with their gaping mouths open and filtering plankton and small fish from the water that flows through. In addition to their impressive body size, giant manta rays have the biggest brains of any known fish in the ocean. They are the only vertebrate animals that have three sets of paired appendages: two pectoral fins, two sets of gills, and two lobes that extend from the mouth. Manta rays have two distinct colorations that are determined by genetics and where they live: chevron, a darker black back and white belly, and all black. There are two distinct species of manta recognized by science: the giant manta ray, which is oceanic, and the reef manta, which lives closer to the coast. Their wingspans can reach as many as 29 feet long and they can weigh upwards of 3,600 pounds when fully grown! Females tend to be slightly smaller than males. They have a distinctive, diamond-shaped body with long, wing-like pectoral fins, ventrally located gill slits, and characteristically wide mouths that have a lobe on each side that help channel water in. Manta rays are members of the cartilaginous fish family and the largest species of ray in the entire world. For centuries, mantas have captured the human imagination, making their way into cultural lore and traditions. I ended up just using two instances to make the "kick" and "snare".įor the intro price, it'll definitely save me a lot of time.Īnd thanks 80hz and Guitar for reminding me about Punctuate. It'd be nice if there were two available frequency ranges. For a dull snare, it'd take 2 seconds tops. With pitch drops available for the bass synth part, I can imagine it would come in handy if you were handed some overly flat drum recordings that needed tonal bounce added back in. Six very different loops ended up sounding like a very cohesive (and complicated) kit. I then added some snare "fizz" to the mids and gave it a little bit of release which created a consistent "snare" sound across the different loops. ![]() Since the different loops were made with different sounds I used one instance on the "kick" and gave them a consistent bass note - I also very easily automated the sub bass frequency on one loop to make it intermingle with the rest of the arrangement in a more musical way. I used it today across a bunch of drum loops passed to me by a friend that weren't normal drums, but instead a whole big pile of crazy industrial metal and clanging sounds. The nice part is that you can zone in on the target range for whatever you're adding. You can add sub bass or filtered noise to your transients - the attack and release has more to do with the synthesized sounds you are adding. Turns out, Fosfat's not really a transient designer.they call it a transient fertilizer, and that kinda makes sense. A lot of the newer Sonnox stuff (from suppressor on) doesn’t sound as good as the old Paul Frindle Oxford plugs and isn’t as low cpu.Ī More subtle traditional one I like is the transient knob in Klanghelm sdrr2 but it’s often too subtle while Transmod can get crazy overshoots that get overdriven out by it or something down the line for extra crispyness Read the manual and Paul Frindle posts for tips.Įnvolution is more of a traditional transient shaper with the Sonnox harmonic cleanliness and optional distortion but it is far more controllable and better sounding than the spl brainworx plug. Transmod has a more control over the overshoots and can get cleaner or crazier distorted. Thus a transient designer deadens the sound a bit compared to slow attack for overshoots on a compressor. But still… we all know what happens when you set a compressor to instant attack or release. Then it multiplies the audio path by the difference between them with a lot of program dependencies and smoothing to the filters. One with the attack knob and instant release and then the other with instant attack and the release knob. In a transient designer there are two in a row. in a compressor, attack and release are just one crazy complex low pass filter to slow down the rate of change. Unlike a compressor, there’s no threshold or ratio controls but just smoothing filter, ie attack and release. Then the sidechain is used to generate a dc control voltage for the voltage controlled amplifier to multiply the audio signal by. Transient shapers like a compressor split the audio into audio path (up/Down) and rectified sidechain (all up). The transmod works a little differently than a traditional spl transient designer, which kills high frequency detail because it’s like a compressor with pretty much. It’s cleaner tonally and can have way more drastic effects for problem solving. ![]() ![]() ![]() Terrible layers implementation: All but impossible to select items that are behind other items without moving the "upper" items out of the way.Because it's cloud-based, very sluggish: uploading a small icon graphic can take several *minutes* before the image is usable in a mockup.cc., Moqups., UXPin., Fluid UI., Balsamiq Mockups., Axure RP.
